Body Builder / Hydraulics Technician

Who are we?

VAKO Transport Systems B.V. designs and manufactures high-quality covering systems and various container loading and unloading systems, both stationary and mobile, delivering to customers nationally and internationally. Additionally, VAKO designs and produces various other constructions containing steel, aluminium, or stainless steel for many different purposes. Due to this diversity of projects, VAKO works for many different sectors, including agriculture and horticulture, civil engineering, waste processing, and bulk processing industries.

What will you do?

As a Body Builder / Hydraulics Technician, you will primarily work on our covering and container handling systems. You will be responsible for carrying out construction, finishing, and repair work in our (recently expanded and partially new) workshop.

Your tasks include:

• Mounting and connecting hydraulic components
• Assembling, repairing, and modifying our systems
• Assembling hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components
• Bending hydraulic lines and pressing hydraulic hoses
• Setting up and operating various machines
• Ensuring quality through (interim) inspections
• Maintaining a clean and organised workplace

What do we expect from you?

• A completed MBO qualification in a technical field
• Knowledge of hydraulics and electrics (12/24V) is essential
• Experience with MIG/MAG welding
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Working accurately with an eye for quality
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A flexible work attitude
• Eager to learn and willing to take (internal) courses

• 25 vacation days and 13 ADV days (on a full-time basis)
