Case Study: Elevated Tipping Station for Silo Truck Unloading in the Netherlands

A Dutch bulk materials processor approached VAKO with a unique challenge: they needed to unload containers of varying sizes — 20ft, 30ft and 40ft — directly into a silo truck positioned below the tipping point.

VAKO’s engineering team developed a custom elevated tipping station with an adjustable tipping table and hydraulic height compensation.

  • Tipping height: 4.2 metres at container base
  • Container compatibility: 20ft, 30ft, 40ft ISO
  • Galvanised steel construction for outdoor installation
  • Full hydraulic control from ground level

The system has been operational for six months with zero unplanned downtime.
